You can set text to continue from one cell to another inside a table. When all cells are full, remaining text collects in the last cell.
Note: With this option enabled, you cannot create or paste a section into any of the table's cells.
- Place your cursor in the cell (or cells) you are adjusting, and click Table >Table Properties.
- Click the Table Margins tab.
- In the Table wrap section, select Inside table.
- Adjust the amount of inches in the At height field to specify the how tall the cell should be before the text flows into the next cell. Click the check mark to save.
Example
This is what it looks like when text flows from one cell to another:
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled | peppers, where is the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked? |
